The Hunger Games European Premiere

So here goes.. a pretty long post, and lots of pictures!

Yesterday I was lucky enough to attend the European premiere of the Hunger Games at the O2 in London. A friend won 4 tickets for the premiere and was kind enough to invite me. We arrived at 4pm, picked up our tickets and made our way to the red carpet. At this point I was much more excited than I usually am when I'm autographing, mainly because I've never actually been to a premiere!
The first person to arrive was Toby Jones, best known as Dobby from Harry Potter. Toby posed for the paparazzi then went to be interviewed by Edith Bowman for the live stream (I know a few of you watched it!) Whilst being being interviewed the rest of the cast arrived, our attention was diverted when he'd finished so we didn't notice. Ah well!
Next to come over was Elizabeth Banks, who plays Effie Trinkett in the film. Elizabeth was lovely! She kindly signed my autograph book and my ticket for the premiere, and posed for a photo with me! I'm waiting for someone to send me the actual photo, will post it as soon as I get it!

Next was Thor star, Chris Hemsworth, who was at the premiere to support Liam who's in the film. Chris kindly signed my autograph book and posed for a photo with me. He was great, must've signed for every single person who wanted him!

He was closely followed by his brother Liam, who I know from Neighbours but is best known for starring in the Last Song. He plays Gale Hawthorne in the film. Liam kindly signed my autograph book and my premiere ticket, and posed for a photo with me. Like his brother, he was really friendly and took time to talk to everyone.

Next saw Atomic Kitten singer, Jenny Frost. I already have Jenny's autograph so didn't get another, but didn't have a picture with her before so got one
now got pictures with all 3 band members!
Next (and the last person I met) was the star of the film, Katniss Everdeen aka Jennifer Lawrence. Jennifer was the main person I wanted to meet, so I was very happy when she came over [squee] She kindly signed my autograph book and premiere ticket, and posed for a photo with me

I also saw Mel B from the Spice Girls, Katie Price, Jermaine Jenas, and producer Nina Jacobson but couldn't get them. Josh Hutcherson, Peeta in the film was taking forever, and we had to be inside before he came to us ^o)
Next was rather exciting, getting to walk along the red carpet. My first time, was really weird! Passed Liam whilst he was signing, and to see everyone trying to get an autograph from his viewpoint was strange, it looked quite daunting.

Went along, overtaking all the stars who were still signing
and up to the cinema. Had to hand over our phones and cameras to security at the cinema entrance, presumably incase we tried to record anything. So no photos from inside I'm afraid. Here's my ticket though
We sat in the cinema (so weird to be in the same room as Thor, Scary Spice, and a Tottenham footballer!). After a while the cast were introduced to us and they then introduced the film. :yay:
I wasn't expecting much from the film, but was really surprised as I really, really, really enjoyed it. Won't say anything about it since people won't want me to ruin it, but it was VERY good. Felt like a film I could happily sit down and watch again.
At the end had to queue up to get my phone and camera back, spotted Chris leaving the cinema (the stars didn't stay to watch it), and made my way home a very happy person! :happy:
