What: Book signing
This was actually a coincidental and semi-surprise success. At first, I had no idea he would be there, but walking around you get to see a lot of different publisher booths, and when I came across his photo on a flyer - I knew I had to go. I told him I was a huge fan of The Hunger Games, have gone six times, to which he chuckled and said something about how many times he's seen it. I don't think I really understood his humor. Oh well. Then he noticed my HG lanyard and I pulled out a director's photo of him (on an index card, printed at home), which he was willing to sign. Also I got an early b&w copy of his new children's book that's coming out in November.
We didn't pose for a photo, partly because there were other people waiting behind me, but also because I chickened out. He was very calm though and happy to chat.
Great addition to my collection!
