ATHLETICS 2012 - 100* athletes!

So, this is a bit late, I've had a certain Olympics Opening Ceremony in the way
At long last, here's who I was lucky enough to meet at the London Diamond League Meet at Crystal Palace on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th July. The competition runs on the 13th and Saturday 14th, but sadly I had an Opening Ceremony rehearsal on the Saturday so had to miss that day of competition. As always with these things, it's impossible to meet everyone, and as such I missed some names. I went with some names in mind that I wanted to meet, but never expect to be 100% successful.

Also got head of UK athletics Charles Van Commenee. Another athletics collector got me paralympian Ade Adepitan after I missed him in September last year.
Liu Xiang and Bershawn Jackson both refused to sign for me. No sign of Christophe Lemaitre, which was annoying as I really wanted to get him. But am VERY happy with how I did, especially considering I had to miss the Saturday.
Highlights for me include finally getting Michael Frater, meeting Tyson Gay again and getting my Team USA shirt (given to me last year by Dwight Phillips) signed by him. Meeting Mo Farah again too. A couple of new Olympic medallists for me too, including Tia Hellebaut, Melanie Walker and Aileen Bailey.
(and as a side note, so far I've met 9 of the 2012 medallists in the athletics!
