I know this is the wrong place to post In Person Successes, but I couldnt find it (dumb moment!) If any Admin want to move it to In Person Successes for me, that would be great?!


I met Katie Price in September 2011 (I know; nearly a year ago...) at her magazine signing in Leicester. I wanted to upload this, since Katie was the first major celebrity I'd ever met, and I'm a huge Katie Price fan! This is by far my favourite success!

I got told on the day by staff at the shop she was signing at that she was in a "foul mood" and wouldnt be staying for long, but since I turned up 2 hours early, I didnt care as I was near the front. When I got to the table, Katie wasnt in a foul mood, she was actually very nice she said "Daniel? Hi Daniel!" and I told her that I'd waited 3 hours to meet her (she turned up an hour late, due to traffic from the last town she visited that same day). She said "awww, thankyou!" and signed my magazine for me! She also stayed until everyone in the 300+ queue got to meet her and get something signed. Even though I only got like a minute in front of her, this was an amazing day! Unfortunately, her management wouldnt allow photos with her unless you got a VIP pass, and since this was my first time meeting her, I didnt know how to get one. But next time... I'll try my hardest to win one!

congrats! i was also at her signign in Leicester! i dont care what people say about her because she is really nice!, it was also the first time i met her!, she signed my magazine and 3 books i had brought with me, the people that arranged the event sai she would sign them. although when i got to the front,she signed and personalized all of them, after i explained i had come from lincoln with took ages!


she really shouldnt get half the abuse she does, she really is nice and i have met her twice now, and the second time she remembered me and said "were you a meet an greet,at lecister?" even thought i wasnt she still remebered me!

Ahhh thats amazing!! I also took a book, but I got told she wouldnt be able to sign it, so I didnt bother trying oh well, I know for next time!

I really want to meet her again, but I cant travel so I really hope she comes back to Leicester again soon! She follows me on Twitter now, which is great, so I'll have to keep telling her that she owes Leicester a visit soon
