Amazing Olympic Success (with MEDAL included!)

Yeah, this is cool

For those of you who don't know, I took part in the Great Scottish Run Half Marathon today and set a personal best time over the distance... totally delighted!!

Following the race, I had the chance to meet some top British Athletes, and by the skin of my teeth caught the one I really wanted.

I managed a photo with Tim Baillie who took GOLD in London 2012 in the C-2 Canoeing Event. The best bit? He had his medal with him and was happy to pose for a photo with it. I can tell you that close up, those medals are amazing!

I also managed photos with Lee McConnell, Eilidh Child and Lynn McCafferty who were all delightful. Capping off the day was the chance for a photo with an Olympic and Paralympic Torch which I snapped up of course.

I then limped home.

Awesome!! Tim is a really nice guy! I've spoken to him a few times through email and he was so incredibly kind!
