Yesterday, the American Idol Live Premiere was being held near my school at UCLA Royce Hall, and I got the chance to not only attend the Q&A event, but I also got to meet and chat with NICKI MINAJ!!!!!! I thank my UCLA friends for this!!! All four judges were there, including Ryan Seacrest. Initially, I was told that the judges will not be signing autographs or hold a meet and greet, so I had no intention of getting autographs from them afterwards.

((
To our surprise, after the Q&A, Nicki Minaj pulled up her Maybach in the middle of the streets and surrounded her self with fans for like 15 min. She thanked us the whole time for showing up and supporting her. She is probably one of the most humble people, and she was the only judge who went out of her ways to meet and great her fans. Nicki Minaj touched my hands TWICE and then signed it! LOL! Guess who didn't take a shower last night? LOL Hands down one of the best perks of my college!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your "kinda sorta" but definetely authentic success. This has to be the best success of the day, just because you used "Nicki Manaj" and "manboobs" in the same post. Now, on to the question that everyone is thinking; How long until you wash your hand?

Have to be honest, this does nothing for me other than to say "autograph collectors should always carry a sharpie and index card". I see zero point in getting your hand signed, or getting excited that your hand was touched by someone. I find that last bit pretty sad if I am honest. Great that you got to meet one of the "big" names of the current time.

I am not an autograph collector, nor do I make a living out of one. I am a student who enjoys collecting autographs from my favorite performers though I am not one who fills his agenda with a sharpie and index card on hand. That is not me. With that said, this event was particularly special to me because the surprise of meeting the star exceeded my initial intention of partaking in the event in the first place. My intention was not to grab an autograph, therefore it is justifiable for me to say that I am head-over-heels that I eventually got one. Unless you comprehend the use of exaggerated phrasing, there is no pitty.
The only difference between getting a hand signed and an index card signed is one can be sold. Otherwise, the sentimental value of recieving it is still there.
@muhumada
LMAO! Thanks! I have gotten the question all day! Right now I am just preserving it, but my friends have come up with crazy suggestions that I get it tattooed!

Well done, you're the new winner of "funniest post of 2013 so far"
Seriously, I still don't get it... to me there is no point in getting a body part signed. As I said, if the OP enjoyed it, cool, but my opinion (that thing we all have) is that it's pointless.
PS... I will *somehow* cope with you being *done with me*

I kind of agree with you, it is pointless to get a hand signed. If I was going to an event, I would make sure to have supplies.
