Byron Buxton - #2 Overall MLB Pick 2012 (Minnesota Twins)

Two weeks ago I met Byron Buxton and had him sign this official MLB ball. He was the #2 overall pick of the 2012 MLB draft and was taken by the Minnesota Twins. He is ranked #2 in the Twins Organization and #18 on MLB.com's Top 100 Prospect list. He was the projected #1 pick by most teams but fell to #2 after the Houston Astros took Carlos Correa. Byron was a nice kid and signed everything that was brought to him. A few people had 10+ items and he stood there and signed everything.
Last Thursday Byron hit a walk off grand slam for the Cedar Rapids Kernels of the class A Midwest League.

was that at the all star fanfest? me and my friend were about to get him but he left as we were close to getting our baseballs signed. great IP by the way. he will be great!!!!!!!!

i may have to send to him via the twins then. i have a baseball that i would like to have signed by him.

This was in South Bend IN when the Cedar Rapids Kernals (Twins single A) were playing the Silver Hawks (Diamondbacks). I get autographs outside the stadium as the players come out and was able to get Buxton. He was a nice guy. Sorry to hear you just missed him. Hopefully you will get another chance.
