Has Skeet Ulrich ever made an appearance at a convention ?
Im starting a "Scream" cast signed photo.
I will be getting other cast members autographs on it.
But I would need Skeet's autograph to complete it.

....Skeet Ulrich is the one you're worrying about?
How do you plan to get Neve?
Re: Has Skeet Ulrich ever made an appearance at a convention
Matthew Lillard is the one I'd be worried about. He doesn't do conventions, never signs TTM, even VV (Skeet does), and barely attends premieres.
Neve is atleast obtainable. She's great IP and she signs VV quite a bit.
For the rest of the main cast...
Rose McGowan does cons. Don't know if she signs TTM at all.
Skeet has signed VV In the past but NO cons.
Jamie Kennedy always signs if you send to one of his comedy shows.

I've heard Neve is really tough, though she may have changed in recent years.
Didn't know that about Lillard, but I don't think it's too far fetched of an idea to picture him doing cons maybe 10 years down the road.
The con landscape has changed quite a bit. Where it used to be almost solely retirees, now you're starting to see a lot of current stars mixing in. Private signings are also bigger now amongst Hollywood stars--while they used to be almost solely for athletes. And what used to be an average fee of $20-$25 is now $30-$40, with bigger names averaging around $90-$125. And those lines STILL get so long that they have to cut them off.
With the amount of money you can bring in doing paid signings now, I wouldn't discount (no pun intended) the thought that anyone will be attainable (for the right price) within the next ten years. I'm waiting for the cast of "Friends" to hit the circuit at $150-$300 each with a line going out the door, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if that happens soon.

Re: Has Skeet Ulrich ever made an appearance at a convention
The dynamic of cons changed in the last few years. As you note, it was mostly retired actors or ones who were relatively young but hadn't done much of note in 10+ years. I loved just seeing the list of names for a show like Chiller or Hollywood.MW1221 wrote:I've heard Neve is really tough, though she may have changed in recent years.

Now, I recognize about 1/4 of the names posted at any con. With the older actors passing away or being too old to travel and the middle aged ones going off the radar, we are seeing a lot of newer names with recent TV show or movie actors. Even the lower tier actors are taking advantage of the increase in collecting demand.
Years ago, a big name like Charlton Heston at Hollywood may be rare. Now it's expected for a show to have a few major names. The promoters/handlers/hanger ons or whatever you prefer to call them, are getting into the celebrities ears about a lot of facets of the shows. They are getting into their ears about things such as the professional photo ops (more money) and higher prices for multi-signed photos and for the newer-to-con celebrities, the promoters have gotten in their ears about the demand and the amount of money the actor can make for a few hours of sitting down, signing.
If you haven't seen a certain major name at a con yet, it's most likely because their agents haven't thought about autograph signings...yet.
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a Friends photo op at a con. I'm sure $1000 would be around the general range if it were to be done. And you're right, the line would be huge.

Im worried about getting Skeet Ulrich because its seems like he hasn't done much over the last several years.
Neve Campbell might be more obtainable since she has 2 movies coming out within the next
few years. I could see when she's going to be on a talk show in NYC and try to obtain her autograph that way.
I also know of someone that I can send my Scream photo to have her sign it. He and other people that work for him go to where
celebrities will be making appearances and they get autographs for people.
