I met Sam Bailey again! I first met The X Factor 2013 winner in December 2013 - exactly 5 days after she won The X Factor - at her debut single "Skyscraper" signing. Here's my experience of that encounter: http://fanmail.biz/mboard/viewtopic.php ... sam+bailey
However, this time, I met her in the same store for her debut album "The Power Of Love" signing!
Me and my friend got there at 3:30pm, even though Sam was scheduled to arrive at 5pm! I never mind the waiting around, but this time it was unbearable because of the rain and hail! Thankfully, HMV (the store) let us queue inside at about 4pm, where we got talking to another Sam fan who had travelled from Birmingham to meet her. Both my friend and Birmingham girl had never met Sam before, whereas I obviously had in December.
Anyway, after an hour of queuing and chatting to other Sam fans, it turned 5pm! No sign of Sam! However, Lucy Kite showed up (the ITV weather girl) and sat at Sam's table, waiting to interview her. Sam eventually turned up at about 5:15pm because of traffic, and was interviewed by Lucy for the 6pm edition of that night's ITV News. After the brief interview, the signing began, and the queue started to move pretty quickly.
Soon it was my friend's turn, and as I'd met Sam already, I let her go first. She got her album signed and had her picture with Sam, and then it was my turn! I gave my phone to the security guard who was taking the pictures, and walked over to the table.
Sam: "Hello! What's your name?"
Me: "Hiya! It's Daniel!"
Sam: "Oh I remember you from last time, and Twitter!"
Me: "oh my god that has literally made my day!"
Sam laughs: "aww bless ya"
Me: "Seriously though, I won't ever forget that!"
Sam: "Aww! Do you want a picture?"
Me: "Yes please!"
and then I knelt down at the table, being different from everybody else who had stood ;) and then I got my picture with her!
Me: "Thank you so much Sam! I'll hopefully see you again soon!"
Sam: "Thank you! Bye babe"
Me: "bye!"
and that was that! Even though it might not seem like a lot to some people on here who get to meet Hollywood A-listers every day, this really was very special! The fact that Sam knows who I am means the world to me!
I absolutely hate having my picture taken too, so the fact that I don't hate the one of me and Sam is also amazing!
