Mikhail Kasyanov was in town for meetings and a speech the other day.
He served as Russia's Finance Minister from 1999-2000 and as Prime Minister of Russia from 2000-2004 under President Vladimir Putin until he and his government were eventually dismissed by Putin in 2004. Since then he has become one of Putin's most prominent critics.
