Giada De Laurentiis!!!!!

I was eating dinner in Washington, DC for my birthday dinner and Giada De Laurentiis (from the Food Network) was sitting right behind us! I kept waiting for her to get up to ask her for her autograph, but we were done before she was. So my mom asked the restaurant if it would be okay for me to ask her (since that restaurant is known for having celebrities, and there was an article about how the restaurant frowns upon asking for autographs in their restaurant) and they said yes and gave me a card from the restaurant to get signed. I went up to her at her table and said "excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you, but I am a big fan, and its my birthday...". Then she got up and gave me a hug! Then I gave her the card and asked if she would please sign it and she did, and said happy birthday on it, and my mom took a picture! Her friends with her were also very nice and talked to me. She is very nice. AND when we were in the middle of our dinner, john kerry walked in to the restaurant, so I saw him too![/b]
