I went up to the Duke of York's theatre in London on Saturday to get Orlando Bloom's autograph.

I arrived and it was absolutley POURING with rain.. I went into the theatre and bought a programme to get signed, then went outside. After waiting for about 5 minutes, one of Orlando's five security guards called me over and said to wait closer to the entrance (those who've been should know what I mean.. where the gates are..) along with other children. We asked why and he told us it was to stop us getting crushed as about 500 people turn up every day!

Anyway, Orlando came out pretty much as soon as the performance finished & signed for us (children) first, and took the time to talk to us etc.. then signed for the hundreds of people waiting. He asked us how we were, talked to us, asked where we had come from etc- one of the nicest people I've met.

Never seen so many people waiting for an autograph- they were blocking the road on both sides.. quite funny.

Orlando signed two programmes for me, one on the front cover, and one on his page inside.

500 every day? Oh god, don't have much hope now that I get an autograph in august. How were the fans like? Hysterical and pushing each other (like you know it from premieres) or more civilised, so he could sign relaxed?

It wasn't mayhem, but wasn't relaxed.. Orlando could easily go around signing though as there were a few security guards keeping the crowd under control {thumb2}
