Wow, last night (January 16th) was amazing. the REALLY REALLY REDICULOUSLY GOOD LOOKING TOUR was at The Chance in Poughkeepsie.
well, we got there at around 5:30 and ended up waiting on a line. the doors were supposed to open at 6 but they were so slow with the will call office and we ended up finally getting in at around 6:45. and let me tell you, it was FREEZING. my feet and hands were numb, no joke.
anyways, once we got in we saw doug perform like 2 songs and then we headed to the merch table. we saw Alex, the lead singer of The Cab but my cousin and i didnt meet him because i didnt have nothing for them to sign hah. anyways, i bought a metro station tshirt and i got a sticker and postcard.. should have gotten the poster but oh well.
after that we went back to the front and waited for the Cab to start. to my surprise they were REALLY good. the songs were awesome. sucks i didnt know any words to the songs or anything though haha.
after they were done we went back to the merch table to see if any members of metro station were back there. we were on a mission to meet them aha. no luck though. so we headed back to the front.
We The Kings was getting ready to perform, and they were awesome too! i do have to admit though, i did like the cab better.
my cousin fell in love with BOTH lead singers ahahahaha. loser.
anyways, after they were done it was Metro Station's turn and it was AWESOME. They did such a good job. Trade told us that we would have to help him since because he was in the emergency room recently for throat problems. but that didnt stop him from belting out and singing. he did awesome. each and every member did awesome as a matter of fact. i think they played their whole album including comin around. iu knew that metro station would be in the back at the merch table (fdrom my resources) and they ended up telling us they were going to be there aha. but anyways. My cousin and I were waiting for like 20 minutes and finally Mason showed up. a buinch of people swarmed him and when it was my turn i asked him to sign my photo and asked for a picture. he gladly accepted. He was extremely friendly and thanked me for coming to the show. We waited a bit longer and no one showed up and my parents were getting impatient to leave so i finally caved in and left. to my surprise, Anthony was packing up his drums, so i approached him. i asked him to sign my photo and he did that. we had a little conversation about the photo i printed and how "professional" it looked and how he was a designer and how i was too. he wrote an inscription "Ben is a good designer" on my photo. he was extremely nice.
after that we were on our way home from a great night.
