Evel Knievel wanted

Many months back I sent a photot & letter to Mr. Knievel, telling him how I'd always admired him and asking for an autograph. I knew the guy was sick so I wasn't surprised when it didn't come back but I did keep hoping.

Now he's gone so I know theres no chance of getting one. I looked on ebay but I'll tell you right now I can't afford the prices they're going for now. Is there anyone out there who is a big Evel fan who might have 2 and want to help out another big Evel fan by selling me one at a reasonable price?

Just in case anyone doubts I'm a real fan, heres the Evel shrine in my living room, the pic in the middle that looks autographed isn't it's just the inside of a comic book back cover from the 70's. If I get a real auto it wwill replace that one as the centerpiece!

I always thought he was..kind of a nut himself. Always thought he was cool! I was gonna send for him since my family quite likes him, but then he died. RIP EVEL!

Even though I don't have Evel's autograph, I wanted to comment on how much I like your Evel Shrine.

Thanks! Thats actually only part of it The rest is on shelves below that all my little toys and such. I guess I'm not going to get anyone to part with one now. Maybe if I wait a few months prices will come down. Thats what happened with Dale Earnhardt autos when he died, they shot way up and now are back down. Still cost more then when he was alive but not crazy like they were following his death. I was lucky and already had one of his.

Sooner or later I'll have Evel in my collection too.
