I could be wrong, but I think zimmy made up a whole fake account to scam me with. I had quite a compelling case against him. Unfortunately, I forget it all now. But yes, it appears he is a scammer. I would say this case should be used as a precedent to stengthen the rules on this section...

I purchased from him earlier this year and had no problems. but then he accused me just recently of giving his customer 'Bad Vibes' when I questioned him on why he was using a stock photo to try and sell his Natalie Portman signed poster instead of using a photo of the actual poster and he claimed he did not have a scanner. and my friend purchased that poster and was given a similar excuse and has yet to recieve it.

I can't believe I didn't know any of this before i bought from him! I guess I have to blame myself for not doing much of a backround check on the seller. But as Jaffer said, I hope this case somehow helps tighten the rules for buying and selling autographs on this website. And I hope it's a good wake up call for other people (as it was for me) about being aware of who they buying things from on here.

Paypal might do something about Zimmy. I Grantee you nobody on this site is going to do anything besides put a name on a bad seller topic... If any of the mods that care bout this site (I doubt it) and bann him all he can do is get another account. No matter how bad a person is they manage to create another account and scam more people until they get tired of it. This site is a joke there is no control and havent been for years.

BTW The "head" mods that joined a month ago and all they are doing is saying "Congrats"...great job This site went downhill. This site is just saying HELLO to scammers. Scamming new collectors that dont know any better. Pathetic.

Maybe they could IP ban him? Sure he could still get back on, but IP banning him would make it more difficult and a hell of alot more inconvenient for him

Just to clarify, Delivery confirmation is not Free. their is a charge for it. for regular packages it costs an additional .80 cents and for Priority it's only .70 cents. only bad thing is it can't be used on any overseas packages or Canada as it works by USA zip codes only. you can get delivery confirmation for overseas, but you have to print special forms off from the USPS to do that.

When postage is purchased online, it's free. This is how Paypal protects buyers. They'll have a Delivery Confirmation associated with the payment, and they'll know whether the seller shipped it to a confirmed address or not.

As far as i know that rarley happends. I been seeing scammers and jerks come in and out of this site. The same people just make new accounts so they dont bann the IP address. Even the Admin is posting VV addresses so the people who are not a fan can spam them. I mean i know this is off topic but honesty all Zimmy have to do is make a new account and message someone whos new collector and such "Want a emma watson autograph for $20" paypal ..done. This site screams out scamming. This is not going to be the last. If this site gets more popular more scammers will come in... wow look how easy it is just to say i have an autograph for $30 and say i sent it and never hear back. Does this to a handful of people then Cancel his account and start a new one. This site has no control at all. If you want to see jerks, scammers, constant arguemnts, and people saying fake autographs are real and confusing new collectors and wasting thier postage. Can go on and on.

I have no idea what to do about this.....I am the guy who purchased the Natalie Portman/Milla Kunis autograph. The friend Ryan J was talking about....I've been waiting WEEKS for it and got the same "it'll arrive Tuesday or Wednesday" comment when I wrote him Sept 24th.

I tried to file a thing on paypal but got something that said "Could not file a dispute because it wasn't a purchase of goods or service"

This is EXTREMELY disappointing....You try to believe in the good in people and you end up getting screwed over for being trusting.

I'm sorry this happened to you all like it happened to me. I was REALLY looking forward to my purchase I almost even bought a frame

I'd imagine it's because you sent the payment as a gift rather than a purchase?
