Pretty ironic. I questioned the authenticity of this, sent pms as well as posted here. No response.

I haven't been answering messages and doing anything because of the influence. Anyway, yes It's authentic. Nobody would buy it for 500 $ or more...It's obvious. I'm not crazy I sell it for that price. I bought two hand signed photos when he was alive and they didn't cost a fortune. Now I don't need two autographed photos of his so I've chosen to sell one. That's all.

I am quite dumbfounded that a "moderator in training" would sell a fake autograph. This seller is not guaranteeing that this is authentic, and will not respond to messages. Do not buy this signature. He is avoiding answering the important questions, and the seller even said he would answer ALL questions. What a joke.

it sells for $500 on an autograph store. no one would buy a MJ autograph for $500 on a collector's forum. they are trying to be fair with us. and they are. this is real i believe.
Fair would be $500, they are for sale in stores for triple that. $500+ is what authentic signatures go for on open auction.

This to me looks pre-printed, or reprinted, just the way the signature looks on the photo.

More information on how it was obtained would be quite helpful as I am interested in it.
this isnt a store. this is a atuograph forum. keyword is forum. no one will post a twilight photo for $1000. if that happens no one will buy it. lol.. its to be fair.
100% right. This is an autograph forum, which people join out of love for collecting. As opposed to ebay, there is a sense of friendship, kinship here.If people are motivated by the love of the hobby, not profit, then obviously things will cost less as the seller will be seeking what is fair, not what the "market" dictates. On the other hand, Ebay is simply about making as much money as you can. I often wonder why people point to ebay and other such sites as examples of what an autograph should be worth- they are massively over inflated prices! No autograph should be $500 :? :?

That could be the dumbest thing I've ever seen posted here, aside from people thinking their Deniros and Pacinos ttm are legit. So basically you expect someone to just give you an autograph because you love autographs. I guess the next time I go out for an icecream I should tell them that because I love icecream so much I expect them to give me an icecream cone for 1/5 of the value. Seriously get real. Believe it or not autographs have value. When you sell something for way less value than something is actually worth, and worth means defined by what people pay for an item, then you raise immediate red flags to the autographs authenticity. If it doesn't raise questions in your mind, then you are as naive as the people who think that their Deniros and Pacinos ttm are authentic.

I've already said: it comes with a COA. You are offending me and you don't have to dare to say it's fake because it isn't. It's so bad to listen to certain things.

Here are my concerns!

1) The price! $80 for an MJ autograph would have been ludicrously cheap even when he was alive! He was awfully difficult to meet IP and never signed consistently ttm! For that reason, I'd like to know how much the OP originally paid for this. If it is original, he must surely be selling this at a loss?

2) The lack of info in the original post! An MJ autograph is highly sought after and pretty rare. Obviously anyone wanting to buy this is going to want to know when, where and how it was obtained!

3) The seller's reluctance to answer questions! If I had an authentic autograph for sale, I'd openly answer any questions. Being shady only adds to the speculation that the autograph isn't real!

4) The autograph comes with a COA but there is no COA pictured! Shouldn't that be required? Anyone could claim an autograph comes with a COA from a reputable company couldn't they?

Not necessarily! I could make and print a COA right now for any one of my autographs! COA's don't actually mean a lot!

I hope I'm being offensive to you, because selling bogus autographs is something that is quite offensive to me. The rules of this forum state that you must say how and where th autograph was obtained. You haven't done that and continue to refuse to answer questions. This can only mean one thing, the autograph is not authentic.

At least someone on this forum has common sense.
