Re: My New Store
Not that I need to explain myself or anything but whenever I get my autographs I usually ask for them to be personalized. Sometimes they dont personalize them knowing they are more valuable without personalization. Hence being sold at the right price. Its only common sense. Funny thing is, artists have told me directly themself that autos are more valuable without personalization. Kinda ironic, you think? Also, I often get doubles of items signed and I either give them away as contest prizes on my website or sell and put the proceeds towards one of my charities. So in closing, before making harsh statements, know the facts.

Ofcourse they're more valuable without personalization... More people can buy an autograph that isn't personalizedNoRightClick wrote:Not that I need to explain myself or anything but whenever I get my autographs I usually ask for them to be personalized. It's the logic of economics...
Say your name is Steve for example, then you probably don't want an autograph with 'To Gerty' on it...
So a personalized autograph is worth less because less people will want to buy the autograph

Re: My New Store
Yeah but that should actually make it more valuable because forgers dont personalize for that reason so if it says to gerty on it you know its a genuine autograph because no forger would write to gerty lol But i think alot of people whu buy autographs dont realize that because they are naive and this is what forgers are counting on.Gertyke wrote:Ofcourse they're more valuable without personalization... Re: My New Store
I dont mind people selling autographs at all unless they get the autograph for the goal of selling it. I dont like when people receive autographs IP/TTM then put it up on ebay the next day...make a business out of it. But if you have extras you want to get rid off...why not? As long as there no scamming invloved and the price is right ill buy it if i was a person who buys autographs.

So any of the items sold you are donating the proceeds to charities?I often get doubles of items signed and I either give them away as contest prizes on my website or sell and put the proceeds towards one of my charities
