We had an arrangement to trade photos right and HE wanted Cassie Steele (Who I have) and he wanted ME to send mine first. HELL NO! So what I did was: my bff works @ the post office so i had his envelope ON HOLD to be sent @ the post office and told her once a envelope came with LEONEL9's address to THEN send out the Cassie Steele to him on the same day. ALMOST two months go by and NOTHING..so I cancelled the exchange. So in FOUR WORDS:

DON'T TRADE WITH LEONEL9!
DON'T TRADE WITH LEONEL9!
DON'T TRADE WITH LEONEL9!
DON'T TRADE WITH LEONEL9!
DON'T TRADE WITH LEONEL9!



(AND I AM NOT THE ONLY USER HE HAS DONE THIS TO. IF YOU WERE SCAMMED BY THIS USER (LEONEL9) SIGN THIS THREAD AND POST WHAT HAPPENED!)

Are "Leonel9" and "Autographworld" the same person?
I haven't dealt with either of them (and I never ever would) but I noticed both are 14 years old, both are from Australia, both have poor grammar/spelling and most important of all both tend to steal photos of autographs that other people posted and pretend it's theirs in order to trick members into "trading" with them. (For an item they never owned).
Just wondering? The similarities are too striking.

Thanks for posting this! I traded 2 books of US Forever stamps for 36 UK Stamps and it's been about a month and a half- no stamps received. I never contacted him because later I figured out he was a scammer and I deleted all my PM from the transaction so I wouldn't have any proof. HE IS A SCAMMER AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW THIS!

I traded Leonel9 some US stamps for UK stamps...and after some confusion and lots of e-mails back and forth, I finally did receive my stamps from him. I'm sorry if it hasn't worked out for others, that really stinks! Like I said, I did get my stamps...but I don't think I will be trading with him again.

Everyone needs to contact the USPS and the Austrailian post about this. If everyone sends an email or calls the same day about this user something WILL be done about it. Because he's frauding using the USPS and Aust. post. It's a federal crime. I got some user in trouble before on a forum similar to this, but it wasn't for autographs. But I made calls and made sure other people who got scammed also made the calls. If you don't make calls or send emails, nothing can be done about it.

Since the user isn't of age, their parents will be fined - and i'm sure they will put an end to Leonel's internet usage preeeettty quickly.

I just want to let you know that users Leonel9 and autographworld ARE indeed the same person. "Both" tried asking me to trade my Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus autographs.

"Leonel9" offered me a signed Selena CD and a signed Justin Bieber magazine, which I politely refused:
