Hi!
Has anyone come across any of her autographs? I was looking through some autograph dealers earlier today and I found quite a few that look the same...must be preprints...but still...they wanted over $2,000 for it! Sheesh, $2,000 for a preprint. One website was selling a signed document of her for $24,999...no way would someone pay that much.

Actually that's not too absurd. I had someone offer me $10,000 for my Johnny Cash autograph. Die hard collectors are willing to pay the price to have a piece of history.

I agree with hilarynegus. People are willing to pay the price for what ever they deem valuable to them. Come to think of it, If I had $25000, Id buy that signed letter of Diana's if it came with proofs and stuff. I am really interested in collecting Royal Family autographs.

I was offered £1000 for my Bette Davis autograph by a guy who thought he was a bigger fan than me (

) It's a later photo and was originally obtained ttm but she was famous for personalising her photographs and as mine isn't personalised it's more valuable. a grand is a bit steep though! I only paid £40 lol!
Basically if someone really wants something they will cut their own butt off to get it! Whether the item is worth £1 or £1000!

Diana has a very popular autograph. I have seen ones surface the (professional, not eBay) market for 20,000 pounds. She's a highly popular lady and there aren't many signatures of hers around.
