UK stamps

Hi,
I am from Germany and would need some UK stamps. I don't really know which I have to use so, I hope there is anybody who can help me. I think I've read something about from UK I would need (for a A4 envelope to 100g) 78 pence and from the US $2,90 dollars....Is that right?
And when it is, is there someone who could sell such stamps to me? (I have paypal). Just send me a PM or reply here. Thank you!
