so in Feb of 2014, i sent a letter, stamps return envelope to Mr. Gene Wilder at his home address. I have seen it posted on here, but it is the one in Stamford,Ct.. it is very easy to find it if you search online. I sent 2 dvd covers. One of Stir Crazy and another of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes Smarter Brother. Today May 9th I received my package back with only 1 cover signed (Stir Crazy) Im certainly not mad whatsoever. The fact they he took out time to sign one is awesome and i am happy for sure!!

Fantastic, I posted in the other GW thread. I've got an 8x10 of Gene I would love him to sign but as I'm in the UK I'm finding it incredibly hard to find US stamps to put on a SASE. Was thinking of putting $10 in the envelope but no sure if it is asking too much for someone to go to the trouble of standing in line at the PO to buy stamps to post it back!!

I had Gene Wilder success today as well! I sent mine on February 8, 2014. I used a 9 x 12" gold envelope and sent a nice handwritten note along with a self-addressed, stamped envelope. This is the very first autograph-by-mail that I've ever received and I'm very very happy. (Oh--and I also used the CT address).

Wow, that's incredible. Really need to get mine off. Can anyone recommend somewhere in the UK where I could get some US stamps. If not would $10 suffice from the US to the UK? Thanks

Hmmm....not really sure. Might you have a connection in the USA that would be willing to send you the stamps you need? You could PayPal someone you trust over here and they could post you what you need. If you go to USPS.com, you can play around with the postage calculator and calculate the cost.

Then again, maybe someone with more experience at this would have a better suggestion! Good luck!
