David F. Thwaites born 8 Sep 1921 Conshohocken, PA...Enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1939 .. later attended fight training, graduating July 1943. Was Assigned to the 361st Fighter Squadron, 356th Fighter Group in Martlesham, England flying P-47 Thunderbolts.. Total of 6 victories before heading back to the States..

Sent 2 photos on 9 Feb and got both back signed on 14 Mar.
