Yeah people say he isn't very nice to signing things unless he was force to. So don't waste your stamps or time.

I've worked a few cons, and did one of his shows.
Here's how he signs, if you're a fan (aka, buyer):
1. have autograph ticket ready, with your item.
2. hand ticket and item to person 1 on assembly line (er, signing table)
3. move right
4. person 1 puts ticket in box/folder, and passes your item to person 2
5. person 2 orients your item to the correct position for signing, and passes your item to person 3
6. move right
7. person 3 slides your item over to Bill, who signs it
8. he -might- look up at you before or after he does. note: NO personalization!
9. move right
10. person 4 takes your item from Bill, hands it to you, thanks you for coming, and puts a tic mark on a sheet to keep track of how many items were actually signed.
11. you ask yourself, "Did I just pay for this?"

If you haven't seen him sign at a con setting, you should. He's like a machine that doesn't stop for at least an hour, and rarely looks up at fans.
