I have been asking celebrities for autographs to sell at my charity fundraiser. I sent a letter (on the 10th April) with an SASE to 'Eastenders Cast', my email contact address on the letter, in case there were further queries.
Received an email 3 days later from the bbc production team, saying the cast were more than happy to have some signed autographs sent if i could prove i was doing this for charity. I emailed them back same day (well evening as i didn't get out of work till late) with a scanned copy of the 'hello, thank you for fundraising for us...welcome letter' from my fundraising pack (only needed to do this for one of the two charities i was funraising for). Got an email the following day, saying perfect and the autographs were going to be sent that day.
