From my point of view doesn't matter when he wrote. There could be pleanty reasons. Language barrier, new hobby or anything else. Growing autograph market changed everything. That is sad fact
I started collecting autograps four year ago and mostly I am focused on actresses, actors, singes from time when I was teenager. They infueance on my life is something what I like. I handwrite all letters, I do some calligraphy on every envelope. It requires time so some people who I admire are still on my 'to do' list. A lot of them are out of reach, and this group is growing. That's life
