Got an email rejection from director Makoto Shinkai's studio

I got an email rejection from director Makoto Shinkai's studio. The email address I left on the front of the fan letter received a reply from Makoto Shinkai Director's Studio this morning. The email stated that they had received my letter and thanked me for supporting director Makoto Shinkai, but that the director was too busy working on his film to respond to the autograph request. The director is looking forward to a face-to-face conversation, not a cold autograph.
I guess I'll have to learn some Japanese for everyday use.
