Just take a look at his "success" from Bob Dylan :

Yeah, I don't know anything about the Clapton's... But the Dylan is not even close to his current Signature...

Not to mention he NEVER signs TTM... And basically almost never in person... He just doesn't do it...

Except for the one time he MAY have Signed Ray Charles name(in 2010, years after he had died) as a practical joke on the Back of Via Venue Envelope intended for him that was RTS... The Ray Charles signature on the back of the RTS Envelope was dated 3/08/03, keeping in mind that the request was sent in 2010... Strange all around... It might not have been him... But the hand writing looked very similar to Bob's... And it somewhat fit his jokester personality/unique sense of humor...

That is a strange success, perhaps in scientific terms it went through a time warp. (If you believe in such a thing)

I only use home addresses, and also I wrote a letter which convinced him dearly. I sometimes get lucky, and when I do I post my successes, I never post successes which are essential and convenient. The letter explained how he saved me from depression, and how his music helped me to stay strong when my friend died from a car crash.

that's kind of gross you used your friend's death to obtain autographs. if you want to show you are a good friend, give that to his family. they deserve it more.

Mr. Eric Clapton really rarely gives autographs - but he will give you an autograph PP if you write him a letter at..... This is his personal address in England... Try it and maybe you will get lucky...
