I agree i don't mind paying for someones autograph I'm a fan of but $25 is a little high for the 4x6 photos I send. I'm a collector Something my daughter and me can do together and relatively cheap hobby. we are new to ttm autograph collecting we started 4 months ago and have had great success using this site and most of the real collectors have been a great help. Thanks
IIRC the success I got came from either North Carolina or Tennessee and I think a p.o. box.
Never send anything to the Stander address. He's simply a guy who latched onto some older celebrities years ago and the address probably truly hasn't been valid for ten years.

Like the people who won't send a photo or return postage etc and expect the celebrity to provide everything...

autograph collecting an inexpensive hobby? Lol, I've spent SO much on this hobby and really I began doing TTM in 2009! Then again, I do 8x10's, but postage and envelopes and photos add up depending on how many you send out. Fun hobby, but not that inexpensive.

yes cheap hobby. Yes you spend money but compared to other hobbys its relatively cheap it costs me $1.40 per envelope I send, yes it adds up but compared to my other hobbies like caving where a headlight cost $500 and up and $800 in vertical gear that's not a cheap hobby or video games going for $60 a pop that's an expensive hobby lol. Autograph collecting ttm is a great my only regret it not starting it years ago. I just usually send 4x6 I'm not selling them so I can store more small photos in my albums than large ones

Yes I agree there but What about hobbies like bird spotting or collecting tin cars ? That could be a cheap hobby. There are lots of cheaper hobbies than collecting autographs. paying for a few packs of envelopes stamps and photos to be printed is not that expensive I agree.
My sister janet used to collect elephant models which she used to put together and then paint. That was quite cheap at the time but these days it can work out expensive dont you think so cavewv?

agree 100% I love collecting rock that's been a totally free hobby there are tons of cheap n free hobbies but collecting ttm autographs has been the best one IV found so far. Nothing better than opening the mail box and seeing one of your returned envelopes.

Yes I agree about the fact about the excitement of seeing one of the returned envelopes. It's quite exciting thinking who could of replied before you open it up. What I do is I save all my replies up without opening them until I have about 5 or 6. This could take 3 or 4 weeks and then I will sit down and break wind then have a nice cup of coffee and then open them all up. This way it gives me something too look forward too knowing I have a these succeses yet to open. :D
