He is definitely NOT dead... Wikipedia, Biography.com, and IMDB.com all list only his birthdate (Jan 2, 1947 - he's only 66), meaning he's still alive.

There are also no web posts to be found anywhere (besides obvious FAKES, which I'm sure goldencardinal is familiar with) to verify that he is dead.

He's not THAT busy a guy to not be able to pre-sign some photos for fans. Cannot fathom how these would be autopens given the slight variations, or why someone of his minor celebrity status would need someone signing on his behalf.
