Fortunately my spelling and grammar are perfect, so she never had any need to correct anything on my letter when I wrote to her last year. She was very sweet and complimentary towards me and called me a "true fan". I'm sure she must have a lot of autograph collectors writing to her who really don't know and don't care who she is. All they want is the autograph, which in my opinion is much more rude than having a celebrity correcting their spelling. It's common sense to enclose a SASE and she has every right to remind people of this.

Common sense? I don't think so. I had no idea what that was when I started. I didn't deserve such a rude response. Sure she can tell people, but she doesn't have to be so bold and mean about it.

Agree with you 100% cjhanson!!! I will admit Tabby's first reply from her was a bit rude, but perhaps she was having a bad day or a lot of people she heard from that week didn't send a SASE so she was upset???
