and have you seen his SEC signing his TTM?; no, so stop saying that they're SEC unless you've got some proof. I know that it's just your opinion and not a fact but still.

They match his IP autographs and they're VERY shaky so it's likely signed by him self and not a SEC

I dont need 2 get proof to be taken seriously..I have an opinion and its 1. He should be left alone as he is VERY sick. 2. Unless u see the star sign your item in front of u then u cant say its Authentic FULL STOP

Wow this has turned into a long thread.

James Garner does not have to sign as many have stated, yet he has continued to do so. If the mail was that much of a bother, hed have his "sec" that these people are speaking of just pitch all his fanmail or send letters saying he is too ill to sign in their sase.

He obviouslly wants to sign or, if you take the "its a sec" route, wants to reply.

I am a fan of some actors after seeing only 1 film- so by your logic, I shouldnt write for an autograph if I loved someones performance in only one film I saw them in?

For example, I loved Mr. Garners performance in The Notebook. I saw Space Cowboys but apart from that cant think of many things I have seen him in. A couple sitcoms.. I wrote him because I enjoyed his performance in The Notebook a whole lot. He signed and sent back in nine days. I am very thankful to have his autograph and wish him the best.

I actually read an article saying hes gotten somewhat better. But hey- like one person already stated. No ones forcing him to sign, and people arent insensitive to send a request to him. If you dont wish to bother him, dont write. But if someone has honest intentions and wants his autograph for ther collection, making a personal accusation about their intentions is lots more rude then writing someone you really look up to.

And like i said!! If u don't see them sign the item in front of u then you cant say its Authentic..U get Proof that its Authentic. U ave people on here stating they have Recvd Autographs from people like Justin Bieber, Travolta, Deniro, Eastwood these people get thousands of Autograph reqsts every week do u honestly believe they spend all their time sitting there open all letters and signing everything? Come on!! I am not Saying James Garner isnt signing them himself i just saying he is ill he should be left alone and if u don't see them sign it you cant say its Authentic..My Opinion and i will stick 2 it.

As a long-time collector I do agree that unless you see someone sign it, you can't say it's authentic -- however, in James Garner's case, I believe his are.
