ok, basically it seems that people just have to resort to pitiful possible offensive language on this post. so i am going to go ahead and get my 2 cents on this. a private address can be considered a private address if it is their home. majority of the time, yes you can find it online, other times it is rare to find the address. if you feel that posting their home address is honorable, then yes go ahead and post the address. DON'T knock who feel it would be disrespectful to the person that they sent it to. yes this is a public forum and if you feel that disrespecting someone is going to get you more emphasis on what you are trying to say, then you are going to find that it will not get you any further that just saying your piece, and being done with it.

But what happens if someone does post their address and they start signing for years, is it still private? Nobody seems to mind posting a "Private address" if many people received a success before from it and it's well known. If it's not public it's private but if the address is leaked and many people received successes from it, it's not a private address anymore? I'm just saying if they are really concern about their privacy, i don't see why they post the topic. Either way with word of mouth..the address is going to get out some way if you see the same "email successes" from the same celebrity popping up.

I see nothing wrong with posting my success from CHRISTIAN BALE and not posting the address. I didn't even confirm the address for anyone. I mean, I know that he has several different places that I could've sent to and I'm sure the members on here already know that, but if I had posted the address that no one knew yet on a public forum: that is something that I'm not okay with. Like I would never post the private addresses to people like Madonna, Beyonce, Britney and Rihanna. I think that that is totally disrespectful and rude. I think that if people want the address that bad, they will do their best to try and find it themselves. You are right, this is the internet and nothing is private. HOWEVER it's the way that we go about posting and finding these addresses that make my points valid. If I get a private success from a private address, I won't post the address. Period.

When it comes to people like Ms. Lauren and Mr. Ed: I think that is different only because like you said ''they have been signing for years...'' It's not like it's their first success from one of them. You see? And also I'm glad that you bought up the email thing: there have been a lot of emails out there that have stopped signing only because they are getting spammed with requests...So if people would keep their mouths SHUT (like I do) "rare" celebs would still care to sign every now and again....

You're all arguing over the same thing, and my word is it fun to read.

Addresses are out there, but I will (under no circumstances) post an address that I have either worked hard to find or paid to find via a subscription for the bunch of wee tools on this site who come on it with no idea what is going on. I'm always happy to help regular members, decent members and proper collectors, but as for those who come on to get free stuff. Away with you.

By that logic, post as you choose.

As for Christian Bale via a HOME address... wow, difficult, not like he doesn't sign TTM via certain addresses is it?

It's okay, I mean I don't need anyone to apologize for anyone else's clueless and ignorant actions. I appreciate it though. I mean, sometimes people take this internet thing way too seriously and it's just my opinion @ the end of the day. I'm not forcing ANYONE to agree with me. I'm not. Everyone can have debates about what they think about someone's autograph or the whole "private thing," but there is a way to do it. He took the immature and wrong way. It's okay.
