Only thing possible for a reason the signed pictures aren't in the photo op is that he could have had her sign them in the hotel that was mentioned, and left them there to take the photo or he left them in the car.

You'd think he'd want to take one with the photos, to def. prove the ttm aren't fake and since. And since it seems like Doris did spend some time with him, I'm sure she'd be OK with an extra, maybe even suggest to take one.

I still think the ttm are fake and I think the secretary is having fun adding the little squiggles and designs and the names of Doris' dogs.

I will say, too, she looks great in the photo.

Even if they got a picture of her signing the items, you know someone would say something else to try and say their still fake. "The guy made her hold TTM autographs", "It's an old photo, not from the same day", "It's photoshopped" But i agree it would still be very helpful if he did. I'm not saying it's impossible he tried to trick people but logically speaking we don't go to each IP topic and think..hmm i wonder if this is made up. But just because it's Doris Day we take it 100x more seriously

I know this won't matter but just to know what kind of "random" person were talking about.. according to his FB He's been in the United States Air Force for a number of years. So he's not this random creepy hound on the street...If you don't believe me about that.... https://www.facebook.com/rduma1/media_s ... 699&type=3 So i would assume this is more of a legit character witness that you can get. I feel like i'm in court.

When the next person is going to act like a child with their opinion, you better be showing me pictures as well showing me why their fake.

I'm definitely apt to believe him, service or not, because you sure can't hold photos at the same time your holding a dog. And for a photo op, the dog is more important! So the fact he didn't have the photos in his photo with her doesn't discount the possibility that he did get autographs. But I go back to thinking if he knew enough to ask about the secretarial believe, that he should have done a separate photo with the three autos.
It is very possible he put the photos away, or got them out afterwards.

Considering a few things about Doris Day ttms like the different D and the postmarks from Kentucky, when she does live in California, I still believe the ttms are fake. BUT with this one I'm not 100% unlike the Hestons, Van Dykes, Curtis', Pacinos, Deniros etc...

I did some Facebook stalking and i saw the original photo he posted for his facebook FRIENDS and FAMILY. So no reason to trick them, right? He also has quite a few other photos with celebrities.

The original photo that was taken with Doris Day was posted on his Facebook on December 29th, 2010.

Here are his comments throughout the post

"I was looking for specifically, and found out a little inside info on her"

Someone commented "I'm guessing it's carmel by the sea" and he replied "(The guys name) Shhhh" So that backs up my theory that it was probably at her hotel that she use to spend a lot of time at. I googled map it and it looked like the exact area.

So as there's no reason to trick his personal family and friends... He said he found out inside info on her..which means he knew when and where she was going to be there. He brought items for her to be signed and she signed them. again i don't understand how that doesn't sound unrealistic.

I don't study her signature day and night but i know common sense when i see it. It may be true that all the KY mail were sec... but i don't believe most of what is coming is Fake.

Which story would you choose to believe? Someone is the Air Force for many years found out inside info where she was going to be(Posted this in the company of his personal friends) then meeting up with her with getting his items signed. Or Him just wanting to say 'Haha i fooled you" 2 years later to a random autograph group.

ALSO....

If you look at the Stop Sign..it says "Ocean Ave" So i googled "Ocean Ave, Carmel" and wow the Doris Day Hotel pops up. The hotel is now called the Cypress In and it was the back of the hotel where he got her at. So i think we can higher our chances that he actually got those items signed in the hotel, right? I'm not a type of person who's going to look at a typical Doris Day topic and yell "It's real" or "It's fake" because i heard everyone else say it so it must be true. If i'm going to say an opinion i'm actually going to show you why i think something is true or not.

I don't think anyone here is acting like a child. This whole thread has been pretty good - a simple debate. If you think this is bad then you have missed many past threads that was filled with petty name calling. This kind of talking back and forth is good.

There have been fakes in charity auctions before.

I wasn't directing that towards you. I don't go on here a lot so i'm just not use to debating in general. Though of course i would expect someone to say that the autograph for auction is fake but i just don't see how it's realistic that every person that met Doris Day or works for her is lying and it must be fake because it's Doris Day.

Yeah, there have definitely been worse threads. This one is like PG! Seriously, though - celebrities have sent secs for charity auctions. I've done 2 in the past and I was actually quite surprised when I got a sec signed item to be put into the auction. I thought maybe they wouldn't use their sec because it was for auction - but they did anyways. I didn't want to believe it was sec for a really long time and like you I stuck up for the fact who on earth would send a sec signed item to a charity. But, I was wrong.

I just also want to say that i'm not this mega Doris Day fan whom i have this personal connection too. I haven't even seen her work. I would just hate it we would be wasting many years just saying it's fake when it could be not true. I'm not in denial or anything.. just from what i seen i do believe this guys encounter and what he's saying too be true plus with her overall handwriting i personally believe it's it's more possible that she is actually replying herself than not. I understand there will always be a debate no matter what anyone provides. I was just trying to provide something new that we haven't seen or heard already.
