Hate to be the bearer of bad news that autograph is stamped. Been in the industry a long time and received the exact same photo with the exact same autograph in the mail today. Even double checked my instincts with a professional and it was in fact machine printed.

It's a pity, personally, I prefer to receive something, even if it's autopen as anything.

Wow, you have been in the industry a long time and yet you dare to say that receiving an auto-pen is an insult, I wonder if Ben Affleck owes you anything at all. It has been long known for a while now that Spanky Taylor sends auto-pens and not "stamped" autographs as you say... You should show more respect to this hobby!

I think even an auto-penned (it is auto-penned, not printed or stamped) autograph is great. Even though it's fake, it's still nice that you got it. The people (Ben Affleck and fan mail manager) who sent it to you were generous to give a photo; consider the fact that they took their time and trouble to give you it for free. I would be disappointed if I received that, but I'd also be glad I got something back and grateful that people had taken their time to give me something.

Have to agree with the comments above - although it may be a little disappointing that the autograph is not authentic, I would 100% prefer (and be extremely grateful) to receive some sort of reply than nothing at all! There is absolutely no need to be so disrespectful and you are no way entitled to an autograph from any celebrity.
