Since I contributed the Lorde address, I thought I would post the inaugural success.

I sent my vinyl pressing of her debut album "Pure Heroine" to her management agency in NY in September last year (probably around the 8th, as that was the date on the letter). Got this back signed like a week or two later on the 26th.

I used the #60 address (as the USPS doesn't like dashes in the address line), but I'm sure 60, 61, or 62 would work.

She wrote my town on the note so I photoshopped it out of the image I posted.

It wasn't a photo, it was my copy of her debut "Pure Heroine" on vinyl. I just used a traditional USPS box. I forget which box size, but it slid quite nicely into the box.

I left the record at home, in order to prevent warping.

Lorde is a sweetheart. I met her a few years ago when she was in my city performing and it was right when she was at the height of her newfound fame, shortly after her first Grammy Awards. I was the only one there and she was very nice and talked to me for a few minutes. Then later at her show she talked about meeting me!

That's cool. Yeah, I intend to hang out in the town where her tour stop will be for most of the day in hopes of meeting her. I just hope she doesn't talk about me in the city she wrote on the auto, as I don't live there all the time. I go to Uni there so, not actually from there.

Luckily though, her tour then stops in the town that is near where I live so maybe she'll mention me twice, or she'll mention me there.

I gave her a huge compliment in my letter. I told her that I hate the modern pop music scene a lot, except when I heard Pure Heroine, it inspired me to go out and buy my first modern pop album on vinyl.

I never buy modern albums on vinyl.
