I don't remember when I sent the package, but it was definitely a few months ago. I got it back on 3/20/18. I also sent American currency, since I know he travels out this way. (I usually do this with places that don't accept money orders or SASE)

I included two pictures, one for myself and one for a friend, to be signed. Of course, mine was on the bottom, and the sharpie ink got smudged and stuck to the back of my friend's picture. All in all, it's still decent, and I'm honestly surprised I even got it back.

Very excited to have this one.....now I await Mr. Ian McKellen.

I too have had success! I sent a LOR, a photo and an SAE to the address found on here on 5th March. Today (7th April 2018) I received my photo back signed and personally dedicated. Sadly, the envelope was ruined by the postman carrying it in the rain!
