Jane Close Conoley is currently serving as President of California State University Long Beach since January 2014. She is working on education reform, diversity inclusion, and social justice. On 9/20/2022 I mailed a letter explaining how I find President Conoley's work to be very inspiring to me at:

President Jane Close Conoley
c/o Office of the President
California State University, Long Beach
1250 Bellflower Blvd.
Long Beach, CA 90840-0115

(took about 4 months)

On 12/23/2022 I received a nice letter from President Conoley.

I did the autograph hobby for a few years and received about 100 letters. I come here about once a month now and I have seen MWinick countless times on here over the years. Matt, there's got to be more to life than this hobby. You always get the sympathy letter because you tell them about your "disability". I think any human being that can sign their name "inspires" you. Just had to get that off my chest.

I'm not trying to get sympathy, I want to thank many influential people for helping inspire me to try my best to be a human being with a disability when the world gets mean on me. Also I like to thank them for the work that they do to help teach me or motivate me to learn more about life, messages in life, how to find different methods to improve myself to be a better person. Yes I have a life I work at a seasonal job and volunteer to help feed the homeless people or people who are low income. In life I get hate from people including friends about having disability and it makes me sad and feel guilt. I look up to influential people because their work makes a great difference for me.
