Jessica Holmes served as Member of the Wake County Board of Commissioners from the 3rd district from 2014-2020 and is currently State Auditor of North Carolina since December 2023. In December 2023 she became the first African American woman to become State Auditor of North Carolina. She has and currently work on civil rights including people with disabilities' rights and ethics reform On 2/02/2024 I mailed a letter explaining howI find State Auditor Holmes' work to be very inspiring to me at:
