must you send an self addressed envelope? if you didnt send a self addressed envelope, will you still get a reply back? even if you just wrote a normal letter?

If you didn't send a self-addressed envelope, the chances of getting an autograph is quite low, as usually celebrities received hundreds of fan mail, and would cost a lot to pay shipping for all of them.
