LOL! Oh my goodness! I just received one of the funniest successes in my years of collecting TTM. It was from everyone’s favorite ‘Little House on the Prairie’ store keeper Harriet Olseson (AKA Katherine MacGregor)!!!! Sent this request only last Saturday and was surprised to see it returned so quickly. Katherine kindly personalized & signed my two 4x6 photos and two 4x6 custom index cards (with full name personalization) and added very neat sayings to them like ‘For a Cool Fan’ & ‘God Bless you baby’.

She even filled out my Q&A card with some really funny answers which made me laugh. Especially her “None. Get a Life” comment. LOL. But the kicker was she returned my letter and added several of her own sentences and made it VERY clear that she is now MS. MacGregor and not MRS. MacGregor and corrected my mistake a couple times throughout my letter. Haha. Several of my words were hard for her to make out (due to my not so great handwriting), so she let me know that too. She also added a lengthy sentence kindly thanking me for including a SASE (which I do with all my requests) as she’s “Not Rich” and that by doing so I was ‘Way Ahead’. Extremely pleased with this reply as her character on Little House has always been a favorite of mine and to know she takes the time to still reply to fans is so awesome. Thanks Katherine!

This post is the best I've read for ages! When you get a response like that, you can just tell the celebrity took the time to learn a bit about you, and in return you learnt a lot about her

By the way, I can read your handwriting perfectly, so I don't know why she was making such a fuss

Glad you had no trouble reading my handwriting, It's actually way better than it used to be, but that's only because I handwrite all my letters and it's slowly improving. I tend to write fast anyways and my brain thinks faster than I can write too, so I hurry and sometimes don't write the words clearly.

I don't know exactly why that excited me so much. I do love her character and the show but reading this post was almost as exciting as getting one of my own. Thanks for sharing it. I've never seen a reponse like it.

What's funny is I had more trouble reading some of her comments than anything you wrote...
