Today I received back my Mariano Rivera baseball card that I sent out few days ago returned back unsigned. I also got a typed letter saying the following. I just wanted to let all of you that do not send out to the Mariano Rivera address listed above.

Why would you send it to IL? He lives and works in NY.

I only used the address that was given in the data base.

I'm not sure why Fanmail.biz has that SFX address for all of these athletes...NO ONE signs through SFX...I have never seen one success using that addresses.

Send to him c/o the Yankees. He was signing some last year...haven't seen a recent success but I think you have a decent chance.

That's kind of a bad reason. And don't send it to the Grill either. Mail to the team, and you have the best chance of success. He doesn't always sign though, very sporadic.
