On 5-6-11 I sent a LOR, SASE, and baseball card to Jim Rice @

On 6-2-11 I got excited when I found one of my SASE's in my mailbox, but was bummed out when I opened it and found my Jim Rice baseball card returned to me unsigned.

Sorry for your disappointment but Jim Rice wasn't a good signer before he was elected to the HOF. Strangely, he is hit and miss ttm but you get a "JRice" and not the quality of his show autograph. Better than nothing. You might try again.

I believe he does charge but he's been known as a bad signer for decades.

I've never got him after many tries. The last time my card was just returned unsigned.
