I've written to him 3 times in the past 2 years, to no avail. The times that I've seen successes from him on this site, the recipient was from somewhere in Europe, as yourself. Each time I've written him, I've enclosed $10.00 for return postage to the states and the rat ba$tard has kept my photos and money each time. If he needs my money that bad, he can have it, cause I've had it and will never attempt to get his freaking autograph again. My autograph collection exceeds 5,100 signed pieces by many people way more important than him. So SUCK IT, Omar Sharif! You obviously have issues with Americans....the very ones that made you famous in the first place!

congratulations, a rare and great success.

I have tried 3-4 times writing to Omar Sharif, and never had a success. Sometimes it's just lucky, and some must pick and choose which fan mail they reply too.

I have many rare ones that many here have failed and vice versa.
