Kirk Douglas Fail (and then again...)

Although I'm aware Kirk Douglas rarely signs these days, I still decided to try my luck, and send him a request.

Today, I got the picture I send returned, with a printed note saying:
'Dear Fan,
Thank you very much for your interest in obtaining my autograph. After many years of never refusing
my fans, it's now difficult for me to fulfill the numerous requests that I receive. I hope you understand.'
I understand, but I I reckon it was well worth the try and I guess I'll better hold on to the signed and dedicated pic I received from Kirk about ten years ago.
