I had heard she wasn't fond of signing pictures TTM and normally sends off a PP. I also heard that she more often signs her books. I took a chance and sent both a book and a photo on 02/18/11 and received both of them back signed on 6/28/11 .

What an honor it was to receive her autographs...the envelop also came smelling of floral perfume!

You're extremely lucky. I just got a "reply" back from her - photograph not signed with a letter explaining that singing any picture of her was illegal. After a year's wait.

Like I said, very lucky.

I wrote to her and sent a picture and she signed it for me but it was already signed by Dick Van Dyke so maybe she will sign if they are already signed by someone else.

Awesome success. I have a question, how much was postage to send the book and for the sase to come back to you? Thanks!

I put a $5.95 postage on both envelopes! and regarding the autographing of copywritten pictures, i think that she wont sign movie stills because she feels she legally does not have the rights to those. I dont think that is her all encompasing rule seeing as how she signed my pic with my book and with the signing of the pics already signed by someone else. I honestly feel that she signs based on the genuiness of the letter you send with it. Sending her a heartfelt letter resonates a lot deeper than sendeing her a letter that is as simple as "i love your work, please sign this picture." i also think she is most of the requests at the end of last year got denied due to her husband passing away, but who knows, everybody is different with autographing of course!!

Dame Julie does seem to sign via venue. She signed 3 photos for me (even though I only asked for one - the others were for Nicholas Hammond to sign & they both signed them).

She is a good signer ... under the right circumstances
