On 8/12/11 I sent a letter, two cards and an sase to former Angels outfielder Fred Lynn, recieved today 4 days my envelope with my two cards unsigned but he enclosed a signed index card for me. So it does add to my Angels collection guess I'm not to upset. Does anybody know why he does not sign cards?

He signed a custom I made w/ his Red Sox Hall of Fame plaque on it. Either he actually got my letter (as opposed to someone else who just puts the pre-signed index in sase) or the custom was unusual and whoever gets his mail showed it to him. I'm just guessing though. Nice success nonetheless, very underrated player.

This has been his signing habit for a long time. Sorry you didn't get your items signed. Once in awhile, he will sign an unusual item. He signed a custom that I made and sent. He does sign at card shows and private signings.
