First off before I start this- Authenticity comments ARE welcomed! I'd like to know if it's real or not! Moving right along....
Date Sent- Very early this year.
Date Received- 10/11/11
Address Used-
Ricer Enterprises, Llc.
27 North Wacker Drive
Suite 466
Chicago, IL 60606
If this is real, then this would be my all-time greatest TTM success. I'm a HUGE Cubbie fan so if this real then....WOW! (However, as a I said, if you think this is fake then please let me know). I sent this earlier this year and wrote it off rather quickly but lo-and-behold....it was in my box today! It's a beautiful card, and the signature looks great on it! Hopefully it's the real deal!

Hello!
This is the autograph I got a few years ago during induction week. I paid 80 bucks, so if this is real congrats! He was a really nice guy, wouldn't be surprised if he did sign ttm!

It looks real to me. I've got two IP autos of him, on a ball and bat, and this looks really good. Kinda small, but looks very good. Congrats on your success! And I will second that he is a nice guy. There was line before he got there, and when he came around the corner, everyone started applauding and he had the biggest smile on his face, he walked up the line and shook everyone's hand. He even danced with an elderly woman that was in line in front of my brother and me. He's a great guy.

I'd say its real. He is spotty TTM. It seems as though he is catching up with fanmail lately as a bunch of successes are coming in. I sent to him earlier this year so I'm hoping mine is in the pile somewhere!
I agree with vjw0307, he's not know to send out ghost signed autographs. Although he has/will stamp items on occasion.

Hi ryeinc
Thank you for your feedback
Would you have a scan of the envelope you received please?
If so, you are in the run for the $10 gift certificate.

I too received an Ernie Banks TTM today. This is the third Ernie Banks success reported in the last week, so it does appear that he is catching up on his mail. As far as authenticity, I look at it this way: Unless I know I met him in person, I will never know if it is authentic, and everyone can debate until they're blue in the face (Heck. Even sometimes when you KNOW its real, someone will always find a reason to challenge the authenticity). It is a FREE autograph through the mail. This is something for my personal collection and as long as I think it is real that is all that matters (Ignorance is bliss!). I don't need to worry about authenticity unless I intend on selling it, and the buyer is concerned about its authenticity, or some day when I am gone and my collection passes to someone else and that party is concerned about its authenticity then they can spend the money to determine how authentic it is.

Make that four successes, lol. I received mine back autographed on Tuesday (10/11/11) as well. I'm just happy to see it's not a sec or an AP.
