This is my first success as I am new to autograph collecting.

Sent - 10/10/11
Received - 13/10/11

I was over the moon when I found my package (envelope) pushed through my letter box this morning. I can't believe how fast the reply was, he must have received it on the 11th and posted on the 12th. So happy! Anyway, here are the photos which he signed, I did ask for personalized but ah well, all the same ;) :

And

You can't really see the second one very well, I should have chosen better photos but I like these ones of him. :)

EDIT - By the way, I'm a Harry Potter fan so if anyone knows any other members of the Harry Potter cast who are fairly easy to get, I would love to know! Thanks.

Congrats on your first success! {up}

You should try Shirley Henderson (Moaning Myrtle) she's really good at signing. I also have Jason Isaacs (Lucius) and got a reply after only a couple of weeks, but some people have waited months - he's worth to try though.

Haven't actually tried them but Matthew Lewis (Neville) & Imelda Staunton (Umbridge) are fairly quick too. :)

I would also recommend the Phelps twins (Fred and George). Will take a little longer, but defiantly worth it in my opinion :)

Richard Griffiths is the fastest replier of any HP cast member, as long as you send him an SASE. Shame he didn't personalize them, I asked him to personalize mine and he did so not sure what happened to yours. But congrats none the less

You can try daniel radcliffe on broadway, ever since early august they had been sending out nice pre signed 4x6 photos (they are AUTHENTIC too, not pre prints!!) but I'm not sure if they are still sending those out or not. As others have stated, Matthew lewis is a great signer too, I live in the US and it took about a month and a half to get a reply from him. Shirley henderson is a real good signer too. She really cares about and apperciates her fans, and usually writes a short note back along with signing ur pics. Hers took me about a month for me to get back.

And if you're willing to pay, you can make an order on warwick davis's website and then send in your item (book, pics, dvd cover, etc) and he'll sign it (you can choose what color sharpie he uses and you can pick a quote or something you want him to write on your item). It costs 15 pounds/ 25 U.S. dollars. I dont think I've ever seen a TTM success from warwick, so I'm pretty sure you have to pay for his.

And for future reference, Emma watson, rupert grint and robbie coltrane all send out pre prints (daniel radcliffe usually does too). Some hard/ Nearly impossible ones to get are: Alan rickman, Ralph Fiennes, David Thewlis, Bonnie Wright, Gary Oldman, Tom felton, Evanna Lynch, Jason Isaacs (some people waited 2-3 years for a response from him), and Mark Williams (some people also waited multiple years for a response from him too). If you send to alan rickman, be sure NOT to send a picture of snape because he refuses to sign snape pictures!!

One last thing, always send your own picture because there are some (such as matthew lewis) who will only send you back a preprint or not return it at all (richard griffiths) if you dont provide your own pic.

Yeah I believe so. I only sent him a DVD cover, but I think i remember it saying 15 pounds per item. He has been very busy lately though filming some movie so it's taking him awhile to sign. I paid and sent him the DVD cover a month and a half ago still havn't gotten it back yet. I thought it would only take a week or two, seeing as I actually had to pay for it, but I guess I can't really blame him since he was filming a movie.
