I got a reply from Bruce Smith HOF DE from the bills today!. He was one of my favorite players and i sent my 1986 RC to him which he signed. Awesome success and a piece that i will cherish and add to my collection gladly!!.

I posted this on another website as was told it was a sec signature? is this true does Bruce send out sec's?. I find it odd as it was sent back to me from his home town of Virginia. Is he really that busy to use a sec???.

I checked on it. I compared your autograph with those that have cert's from Upper Deck and Topps on Ebay (you can do it to, just search bruce smith auto, autograph, or signed). Your signature looks ALOT like those. So, unless his "secretary" is signing his stuff that he is under contract to be signing personally for companies like Topps and Upper Deck, I believe your auto is legit. I highly doubt his "secretary" is signing for him, especially the Topps and Upper Deck stuff as he could be liable legally for fraud with those companies. I doubt even Bruce Smith has the kind of money to settle a suit like that with mega companies like those. Enjoy your authenitc signature!
