I absolutely love love love him as Freddy! How long did it take to get a response? I'm considering sending to him next. Also, you did say you just sent the SASE and LOR, correct, and he sent back the signed postcard? Photos are too expensive for me to buy so I'm always interested when you can send something and still get a response without sending your own photo. Please reply asap...)

I responded to your Heather Langenkamp post. I also received an autograph from Robert Englund. If you do not send a photo he usually sends the postcard signed to you. It took me about 3 months for a reply.

I saw your post to my Heather Langenkamp one. Thank you for that, it helped clear a few things up for me. Do you know if the postcard is an AP, PP, authentic, or something else?

As far as I can see its his real signature. The address is actually on his official website. If you go to his page he usually charges for autographs but it seems like he's signing either postcards or personal photos for free so far. Very cool of him!
